Complementing the RAV4’s daring looks is a thrilling drive personality imbued by two powertrain options. A 2.5-litre four-cylinder engine which produces 204 hp and 24.8 kg.m. of torque, mated to a an eight-speed automatic transmission (8AT), resulting in a quicker and smoother acceleration. On the other hand, a hybrid system combines two power sources consisting of a petrol engine and electric motor producing a combined power of 219 hp. The instrument panel’s horizontal layout has a slimmer profile and a lower position than before to enhance forward visibility. The center console is wider and more versatile with an expanded console storage. The RAV4’s cabin is accentuated with a range of advanced features, including wireless charging system for smartphones (Qi-enabled device), dual auto air conditioning system, 7-inch multimedia infotainment display, six-speaker sound system, power driver seat and front ventilated seats.
