Saud Bahwan Automotive announced the 16th edition of the popular Toyota Dream Car Art Contest. The annual event scheduled to be held across the country, is open to kids from various age groups. Winners will be awarded exciting prizes that include 43” UHD TVs, Dell i3 Laptops and more. The winners of the national contest will be eligible to take part in the world contest. Conditions apply.
The contest is open to any legal resident of the Sultanate of Oman aged 15 years or under. Artwork can be created using any paint including water paint, colour markers, crayons and should be drawn by hand. Digitally created artwork will not be accepted. Artwork should include a background and should be submitted on entry forms available at Toyota showrooms; Judging will be based on originality, artistic expression, concept and colouring. All artworks should be submitted with an entry form signed by the participant and a parent or guardian. To participate, contestants are encouraged to visit any Toyota showroom to collect the drawing sheets. The last day of submission is 18th December, 2022.
The Toyota Dream Car Art Contest has been encouraging imaginations to soar to great limits since 2004. This initiative from Toyota Motor Corporation is a social contribution that gives children an opportunity to put their imaginations on paper.
Each year the Toyota Dream Car Art Contest is held in different countries all over the world with the theme ‘Your Dream Car’. The importance of recognizing a dream for children is the goal, as well as, encouraging children to become interested in cars by using their creativity and imagination. Toyota has ‘great hopes for the Dream Cars from the children’s rich imaginative powers.
The age groups for the participants are under 8 years, 8-11 years and 12 – 15 years.
